I have a passion for collars...I started the dress by making the collar, with an upcycled formal skirt piece of pink brocade. The brocade has a delicate floral pattern with a hint a gold. The halter neck has a closure behind the head with 3 big square vintage buttons. They looks like sheer mother of pearl, but it is not. The closure is functional. I made the front bust piece in a piece of brown wool, then I added the body of the dress. The front of the body is made of sheer silk chiffon imported from Italy. It is white, with beautiful branches and flowers. There is an insertion of french cotton valencienne on the middle. I designed the hem as short on the front and long at back. The back of the body is made of cotton gauze that I stained with tea. The back is open to show some skin. There is a little leather star to catch the attention at the waist area and the bottom of the back. The front is orned with 4 leather starfish. The black hem is made of lace fabric, its a black tulle with leaves pattern. A good part of this dress is hand sewn.

The dress is unlined, I can't convice me to lined it, I love the sheerness of the silk and the gauze. I see it over a beautiful lace camisole or over a frayed sheer tshirt, a pair of capri legging or over a gypsy skirt/petticoat . Pair it with a brown pair of boots...it will be unique to assist to a wedding or for a romantic diner.

***EDIT: this dress has been lined with a blend of linen and cotton as required by a lovely customer. You can see a part of this lining at the bottom. There is also a cotton lace with dots added at the hem for even more feminity.

This dress is one-of-a-kind and I will not duplicate it.

This dress is shown on a dress form of 35" bust, 33" over the bust, 28"waist and 38" hips.

Sizing: will fit on sizes 6-8-10 US
The dress measures 34" over the bust area;
The waist is free
The length from the top of the front to the bottom hem is 27", 32" from the neck base
This would fit to medium sizes
It would be easy to change the buttons place to reduce or increase the length of the halter "strap" to make it fit you perfectly (if it is not already)
I would recommend to compare the measures to an actual dress you own.

Prompt shipping is my device. If I can your dress will be shipped the same day, or in anyway within 24 hours. It usually takes between 6 and 10 days to get your order. If you want a tracking and a quicker delivery in 4 days it usually around 25$ for USA.

Frequently asked questions about mynoush

I recieved many request for custom clothing orders. Unfortunatly, I can't take custom orders. I do not duplicate sold items, or make two items from different sizes. But, I do shorten straps, take a few inches on the sides to make pants or dresses smaller.
This is a question of organisation and space management.

For hats, I regularly add bunch of new hats so I invite you to come back to see if you can find the color you are searching for.

I do not take custom orders, I do clay once a year in summer. Next dreads beads will come in summer 2016.
I have customers all around the world with different sizing systems. This is why I choose to give key measures of the clothing I make. I could give you an approximation of the US size of cloth, because Im from Canada. But the best way to know if a piece will work for you is to take a similar clothing in your wardrobe and compare its measures to the one in my shop. You can send me your measures, it help. Always remember that you need extra inches to be able to move into a jacket, except for stretch tanks.

If you don't have a ribbon ruler, you can take a piece of thread, yarn of ribbon, non stretch, and report the measure on your flat ruler.
I live in Quebec, Canada. I only work with fiber from canadian farms, trying to encourage local farms as much as possible. I live near a large alpaca farm, so all my alpaca fiber is coming from there. I also work with others canadian farms to work with their fleeces, like angora goats for mohair, and sheeps for lincoln locks, cotswold, corriedale and romney. Im a big fan of textured yarn so I mostly spin directly for the locks to preserve their shape and show their natural beauty. I also dye myself all the yarn.
