An incredible pair of folk art portraits rendered with a pyrography (wood burning) technique and just enough paint to lend a bit 'o color to these ladies. Both of the portraits are signed "Margaret Baker"--one is dated June 11, 1907 and the other June 12, 1907. The back of one piece has a bonus drawing of two comical men (see the last image). There are small nail holes on both pieces as they seem to have been created on old wood scraps--these little 'blemishes' lend an authentic charm to the pieces. This pair would make a unique addition to any collection!

Size: 10" diameter
