MATERIALS
Premium materials and finishes are used throughout. The two panels are shaped from Baltic birch, a premium grade of plywood also used for musical instruments, sports equipment and furniture. The wood is protected by a water-based satin clear coat finish with low VOC (volatile organic compounds) so the rack is free of odor and safe. All darker wood stains are also water-based and low VOC. The four rods are machined from aircraft grade aluminum alloy for strength and finished with a long lasting satin anodized finish. The screws are stainless steel. The rack is very lightweight and yet very strong.

HANDCRAFTED IN COLORADO, USA
The rack is made right here in Colorado next to the Rocky mountains at the design studios of LineColorDesign. The two aluminum threaded rods are machined to exact dimensions on the lathe. The two wood panels are cut to precise dimensions by CNC followed by sanding and several coats of satin clear coat finish for a silky smooth wood surface that looks great and brings out the natural wood grain and colors. Darker wood stain options are available to customize the rack color to fit your needs. Each rack is assembled and tested before shipping so you can be assured parts will fit together perfectly for a solid build.

THE DESIGN
The wine rack was made to fit smaller spaces such as studios and apartments that will often have a more contemporary interior design so I gave it a simple and functional aesthetic inspired by Scandinavian design. The rack provides safe bottle storage in a contained space with no dangling bottles. The open frame highlights the shape and colors of your bottles and makes it easy to identify the labels. Simple lines without ornamentations and a gentle curved profile provide a softer friendly look. The two wood panels provide warmth and texture while the anodized aluminum rods provide a modern touch. The four aluminum rods provide exceptional strength to the lightweight rack structure designed on the computer using 3D CAD software. The generous curves on all four corners protect your furniture from bumps and scratches. In the vertical position the rack has a very small 10x8 inch (254 x 203mm) footprint to fit the smallest spaces. In the horizontal position the frame's upper curved shape will hold an additional two or three bottles above the rack! Assembly is very easy using only a Philips screwdriver (a flat screwdriver will also work on the large screw heads). Illustrated instructions are provided. Overall a well made product with a simple contemporary look that you will appreciate for safely storing and displaying your favorite wine bottles while also adding interest to your décor.

COLOR AND FINISH
During checkout you can select either a standard clear coat wood finish that is stain-proof and water resistant, or you can select up to six different wood finishes as follows: Unfinished Baltic birch, Natural Clear Coat, Cherry Stain, Walnut Stain, Mahogany Stain, Black Stain. SHIPPING
Orders are shipped by USPS Ground service for approximately one week delivery to East Coast or West Coast and a 3-4 days for central states. You can upgrade to faster delivery at checkout.
