Listing is for ONE vintage geological sample bag, intended to be used for sending samples of the rock formations passed through in drilling oil, gas or test wells. These were found in Tulsa, Oklahoma (oil field capital of the 20th century) and probably date from the 1930s-50s. They include a little card (age discolored by time) to be filled out & enclosed.

These would be great to repurpose (assuming the $300 penalty for private use has expired!).

Khaki colored (grayish-tan) polished woven material with yellow drawstrings; 3.5 x 5 inches.
