Air plants are easy to care for, and require little maintenance! Water every week, and keep in indirect sunlight or fluorescent office/indoor lighting.

If you are gifting this terrarium kit, the plant will need to be taken care of. Simply open the box, remove the plant from plastic bag, place in window sill, or on a shelf near a window- indirect sunlight or fluorescent lighting, but no direct sun. Water every 2 weeks by dunking in a cup of water for 1-2 minutes, and shake off excess. When ready to gift, just place back into original resealable bag.

This terrarium kit is shipped in a sturdy white cardboard shipping box, with label affixed. The label can be peeled off upon receipt (slight damage will occur to box) and wrapped with decorative paper for gifting. If you prefer to receive the white box without the shipping label damage: at checkout please choose "Yes" for the gift wrapping option- and for an additional $2 the box will be packaged with a decorative twine wrap and gift label, and shipped inside a mailer bag.

With either wrapping option, a personalized note or gift message can be included with your order, free of charge. We can also ship directly to your recipient, we never include pricing or ordering info in our orders!

****** Air Plant Care ******

WATER
Every week put 5 drops of water into the leaves of the air plant using the included eyedropper. Make sure to only water enough that they dry completely within 4 hours of watering, or they may develop root rot. Do not overwater.

If able to remove plant from flask: Water every week by dunking in a cup of water for 1-2 minutes, and shake off excess. Do not return plant to flask until completely dry.

LIGHT
Air plants like bright, indirect light. If you don’t have access to natural sunlight, flourescent lighting will work instead. Direct sunlight may burn the plant.

AIR
Extreme cold and heat may damage your air plant. They do best in warmer environments between 50˚-90˚. Air plants love good circulation and some humidity.

super cute gift for my boyfriend's birthday! the flask does seem to make it harder for the plant to get proper humidity so after seeing it start to shrivel watering once a week he has switched to every few days and it's doing much better. he keeps it in the dorm vanity, so in completely indirect sunlight and that seems fine for it as of now. was a little difficult to assemble like the photos but taking your time helps. overall really cute and good quality!
