Made from angora/lambswool blend sweaters, these longies are intended to be worn over a cloth diaper. The cut and pattern are my own creation. They are looser style, great for a look of pants, while still being a diaper cover. Cute pocket on the side of the green leg. Freshly washed and lanolized, ready to be worn!

Waist: 16" at rest, 21" when fully stretched out
Rise: 17"
Inseam: 7.5"

Approx 18-24 months

Upcycled wool information

Measurements required are:
Rise: from the top of the diaper near the belly button to the rear of the diaper near the small of the back. Should be measured while your baby is wearing the prefold, fitted or flat that the wool cover will go over.
Leg: around the thickest part of the thigh
Waist: around the thickets part of the waist, near the belly button.

Why would you want to use wool?

Wool and cashmere are completely breathable.
Wool can absorb up to 40% of its weight in liquid without feeling wet.
Wool allows moisture to evaporate.
Wool is an excellent nighttime diaper option.
Wool is antibacterial and anti-fungal.
Wool only needs to be washed every 2-3 weeks or when soiled.

Wool is intended to be used with a flat, prefold or fitted cloth diaper underneath. Wool can also be used over a disposable diaper to prevent leaks overnight. Wool is moisture resistant rather than moisture proof.

Washing wool is not as scary as you might think! Yes, it should be hand washed, and yes you need a special wool wash solution, but that's all. Just wash in a basin every 2-3 weeks with a lanolin enriched wash, and air dry. Easy peasy!
