I was attracted to this shoe stretcher at an estate sale for it's decorative value. I have had an iron shoe form as a decoration in my dining room for years and love what it adds to the vignette I created with an old bench, some crocks and the shoe form.

This one is a men's spring loaded form. My research tells me that this type was made from 1920 - 1929. It is solid wood and still functional.

It measures 11 3/4" long and pushes down to 10". The width is 3 1/2" at it's widest and closes to 3".
