Toys for quiet play in a pocket sized tin box. For ages 3 and up (contains small parts).

This mix of tiny toys, random objects, and vintage game pieces fosters quiet play and offers an antidote to the over-stimulation that children are often barraged with.

It's the size of an Altoid tin, so it'll fit in a pocket or purse, and it's easy to take along anywhere.

This exact tin is available. The lid is decorated with my original collage in green and orange.

This kit includes:
• a glow-in-the-dark fairy (made to perch on the rim of a cup or flower pot)
• a key
• a green carabiner clip
• two number dice
• three plain wooden bingo disks and one numbered marker
• a square cardboard "good luck charm" that I made with an image of St. Patrick and clover, with a raised clover motif and a copy of a vintage dictionary section about luck and fortune on the back
• a metal four-leaf clover token
• tiny wooden houses from vintage games — Monopoly and Easy Money (both ca. 1936)
• two flat marbles
• a duck and duckling
• a tiny dinosaur
• a vintage Monopoly shoe token
• four small magnets: three mini mah jong tiles, and one vintage yellow button
• assorted carnival tickets
• a bottlecap token — I show a bee with a white flower, which is solid gold color on reverse (see third photo). You may choose a different one if you like, please see last photo for options.

— and it all fits in the tin!

The kit comes with your choice of bottlecap with a miniature of one of my animal drawings, or Alice or a Dragon in a suit. See the last two photos for choices.

Please let me know if you want a bottlecap that does not mention beer. The caps are mostly from artisan or craft brewers (from my local wine bar), but I do have some solid color ones as well as others with no logo or that do not mention the word beer or brewing/brewery, as well as some soft drink caps. I don't make the bottlecap tokens to order, but I do have a lot of them made.

(For a look at what the backs of the bottlecaps look like, see this listing:
