"You know you’ve been to an indie comics show when one of the highlights of your haul is a Lars Von Trier tribute anthology. LVT was created by a group of Portland artists (all loosely associated with local publisher, Sparkplug) each of whom tackles a different Von Trier film in their own way. The centerpiece is Sean Christensen’s fictional meta-interview with the film-maker which both addresses and mimics his 5 Obstructions. While Christensen’s art is self-consciously lo-fi, the strip still works amazingly well and functions as criticism, comedy and fan-fiction all at once. The rest of the pieces are shorter, but still manage to provoke thought and reflection on Von Trier’s work — even Julia Gfrörer’s reimagining of the director as the man from the Dos Equis commericals." A Lars von Trier fanzine produced by Sean Christensen (Awesome But True) and Suzette Smith, including work from Julia Gfrörer, Jason Overby, Elizabeth Pusak, Cari Vander Yacht, and Graham Kahler.

This gloomy anthology includes meditations on Dogville and Medea, an inventory of Lars' wardrobe and sadism, a safe place to hide while the world ends, and a lot of examples of dead horses.

It measures 5.5x8.5, 28 xeroxed pages long, with fancy vellum endpapers, published in April 2012.
