If you are looking for the wedding dress of a lifetime, look no further.

This is a very dramatic 1940s heavy liquid satin wedding dress with original veil in wonderful condition. The bodice is covered with lace, seed pearls and sequins which extend over the shoulders and around the back of this very elegant gown. Each sleeve is edged in lace. The sleeves and back all close with elegant fabric covered buttons--6 on each sleeve and 20 down the back. The bodice is fitted.

The gown flairs out at the waist into a full dramatic skirt billowing out behind into an incredible 7' train. In the center of the front skirt is a triangular design of wide lace panels. Between the panels are small lace flowers embellished with seed pearls.
The train of this dress is tremendous--- from the waist to the end of the train is a full 86". The train is completely edged in 3" wide lace with a small pale peach ribbon interlaced through out.

The dress is made of very heavy cream satin. This is a substantial dress. The matching veil is a cap style made of hundreds of tiny flowers on a wire base. Attached is a 33" long tulle veil.

There is no manufacturer's label, but this is obviously a professionally made vintage gown. Please rely on the following measurements for a good fit. These measurements were taken on the outside of the dress.

Waist: 26 1/2"
Length from top of shoulder to center dip at the waist: 19"
Sleeve length: 23"
Width taken across the front at the bust: 17"
