This is a pattern for an ADORABLE 1950s girl's dress. It can be made with or without cuffed sleeves and a collar. It has a fitted waist with a typical 1950s flared skirt. Don't forget some extra cute buttons.

Marian Martin patterns were available thru mail order for decades. Newspapers were the primary source of ordering. The pattern is different as there is no traditional envelope. The unmarked, cut pieces were simply folded into the folds of the guide sheet.

The size of this pattern is Girl's Size 8:

Breast-26"
Waist-24"

The pattern is neat and complete. I undid the factory folds to count the pieces. The guide sheet is no ripped or torn. The mailing envelope is included from New York on March, 29, 1954.

Remember: Older patterns like this have no markings, except a pattern letter. There are no marked seam allowances, everything is contained on the guide sheet.

HAPPY SEWING!
