I hand knit these soft fingerless mitts with two lovely wool and silk blend yarns. Wool for warmth and silk for strength, they should give warm, long wearing comfort. The varigated Noro yarn begins with a medium pink that gradually trends to a warm brown, which shows off the Fair Isle design nicely against the cream colored Merino wool (70%) and silk (30%) yarn.

Made from a beautiful pattern by Elizabeth Green Musselman - used with her permission. Any variations from the pattern are my own.

Made in a cat & horse friendly home. The horses don't LIVE inside, actually, and I always wash my hands between barn and house, but just in case someone out there is allergic . . No smoking - cigarettes, cigars, pipes, fireplaces or smoke as the result of excessive anger.

Fit up to a large woman's hand. The full knitted thumbs are helpful if you are always busy with your hands, like I am.

Hand wash in warm water, wrap in a towel to remove excess moisture, and let air dry.
