Asteria :: Ἀστερία :: "Of the stars, starry one."

In Greek mythology, Asteria is a Titan Goddess of Night, nocturnal oracles, and falling stars. As this piece of lovely lavender labradorite is streaked with blue like stars across the night sky, I found the name only fitting. There is also a cluster of natural black spots along the bottom of the stone that remind me of a constellation.

The stone has been wrapped in swirls of sterling silver, and measures 2 1/2" tall. It hangs suspended from a 17' sterling silver chain adorned with pale lilac and pink amethysts. An extender can be added upon request.
