A very eye catching Art Nouveau alcohol thermometer in an oblong hexagon form.
It is made up of bronzed spelter with a lovely patena.
It will clean up more if the buyer wishes but it would ruin the patena.
The central alcohol thermometer is framed by two Ibis and rays of light, standing in a pool of
lilies . At the top of the thermometer is a cartouche with a raised cathedral of the Notre Dame, Paris.
A rare piece which could have been a tourist piece in the early 1900`s.
This alcohol thermometer is in good working order.
A lovely piece of Art Nouveau, and exceptional quality.
