this amazing blouse is super old and super cute!
someone along the line has dyed her a lovely shade of lichen green. features shell buttons down the front and embroidery at the bust and vent pleats and princess sleeves and And...!
she's collarless, girls! aw yeah.

circa late 1800s or early 1900s
made of cotton.
structurally sound and in great overall condition.
has some minor discoloration at the pits and the right cuff has been repaired at some point, as there is about a 2" sewn area.
We think the woman (if we may be so bold as to assume it as a woman) who made this shirt so long ago used scraps from other clothing to construct it, as there is a mysterious button hole at the nape of the collar, and the topmost front of the shirt has a hook and eye sewn in, but there are 2 button holes there, so it seems it might be made of various pieces of other shirts.
Upcycling before it was trendy!

shoulders are 15.5"
pit to cuff is 18"
bust is 40"
waist is 40"
length is front is 22.5";
length is back is 19"

thanks for visiting!
