This incredibly beautiful antique cake plate dates to the early twentieth century.

Hand painted azalea or rhododendron blossoms in the palest shades of pink and cream are strewn around the edges of the plate, highlighted by raised gold dots at the ends of their stamens, and a misty pale blue background.

This exquisite piece, made of fine German porcelain by Beyer & Bock of Prussia, would be a wonderful platter or cabinet piece, or just might steal the show at your next tea party.

Circa 1905-1930
Marked Royal Rudolstadt, Prussia: B [Beyer & Bock]
Made of porcelain
Measures about 9.75 x 10.5 inches and 1-1/8 inches high
Condition: slight wear to the gold and decoration and a few normal pops in the glaze; otherwise excellent
