Surge is a one of a kind handmade creature from the volatile waters of the Azores Archipelago off the coast of Portugal. The Azores are noted for their volcanic and tectonic activity which, can of course, lead to some stormy seas! But with Surge's spiraling wave pattern and dark, but deep, rich hues, he fits right in and rides those waves with ease.

About 15 inches long with a graceful curve throughout, Surge is trimmed from saurian head to serpentine tail with soft felt fins of royal and bay blue. Despite his regal demeanor, he's totally huggable and will charm sea-serpent lovers and cryptozoology enthusiasts of all ages.

Unlike some of the Uniseacorns, my seadragons and sea-o-saurs have no pointy bits or beads, so they are pretty much safe for all ages at parent's discretion of course, and would make a wonderful nursery guardian for the little dragon lover in your life. Also, according to young Simon, who inspired the design of these creatures, the Sea-o-saur can swim 3000 miles an hour :)

Though he is constructed of washable materials, including nontoxic fabric glue, I recommend spot-cleaning. Every Seadragon and Uniseacorn is hand-stitched with contrasting or complimenting embroidery thread for that unique home-made rag-doll look. And all come from a smoke-free home with their own name-tag and micro-biography!
