This Amazing Vintage Peacock Brooch Pin is a heavy, solid piece with clear pave rhinestones in a setting that is rhodium plated alloy on the back. Set with blue and green rhinestones in an open back silver tone metal setting, this is a brooch that is very unusual and stunning!

The peacock's legs and the base of the wings have a reddish slight color wash that might have been enamel that appears to have worn away. The design is very 3 dimensional and I am guessing this is Art Deco or 1930's. Rare, Heavy and solid 3D figural brooch, it measures 2 inches wide and 2 inches tall and about 3/4 inches deep! This is really beautiful!

All stones are present, but some have darkened with age. One green stone has a foil back, where the others do not. The facets and shape is the same however so I not sure if this was a replacement. An interesting piece and nice addition to your vintage jewelry collection!
