NOTE: The Difference Between the "One Hour Dress" booklet and "E-Z Frocks" booklet:
The 2 booklets are quite different.
1 Hour Dress: The dresses are longer and in the style of early 1920s - loose, long, very un-constructed. The "pattern" is made by measuring yourself, and then you cut the fabric directly from those measurements. There is never a paper pattern. The basic dress can be altered to have longer sleeves, and different embellishments here and there.

E-Z Frocks (Easy Ways with Pretty Frocks):
This is late 1920's. Shorter dresses, and a little more construction than the 1 hour dress. This also does not use any paper patterns. You hold the material up to yourself and pin where you want the sleeves and length to be (see attached pic)
There are directions to make the basic dress and then the ability to add sleeves, collars, belts etc. There is also directions for making "underwear", a hat and an apron along with other things.
