Kwan Yin (also spelled Guan Yin, Kuan Yin or Quan Yin), is known as the Goddess of Compassion, and she is one of the most popular deities in all of Asia. Her name in Chinese roughly translates to "The One Who hears the Cries of the World". She is seated on a Foo Dog, a symbol of good fortune meant to guard against evil and harmful spirits. The Foo Dog is an emblem of valor and energy -the indispensable compliments of wisdom.

☀ Kuan Yin measures almost 4.25" Tall x 3.5" Long x 1.5" Deep. Don't let the dimensions fool you - she really is a nice sized statue as you can see by the photo taken of her in my hand

☀ This listing is for the Kuan Yin statue in the first 4 pictures - the others are listed separately

☀ It is very difficult to find a Kwan Yin statue this small with this much detail -- and especially made of solid concrete!

☀ She is all hand made and is the perfect size for a miniature garden or terrarium

☀ Handcrafted with my own special blend of cement & strengthening components resulting in a very strong, durable all weather material

☀ Hand painted with special paints made specifically for outdoor statues

☀ Waterproofed with cement sealer & sprayed with several coats of a special outdoor UV-Resistant clear acrylic

☀ If you choose to display your statue outside, it is perfectly normal for the sun and other elements to put normal wear and tear on it. Any type of painted statue (concrete, resin or ceramic) sitting in direct sunlight is likely to fade faster than one placed in a shady spot. If you live in a climate where there are freezing temperatures -- be advised you should bring your statues indoors for the winter months.
