Every once in a while, one must look at one’s stash and make some (usually painful) decisions. I looked around my wool stash yesterday and realized that I have more fleece and roving than I could spin if I lived to 125 years of age --- so here’s a the beginning of an effort to get it under control.

This listing is for one ounce each of five natural colors of Huacaya alpaca, grown locally here in Western Washington. The fiber was processed (beautifully) by Frankenmuth Woolen Mill in Michigan. The alpaca’s names are (in light-to-dark color order): Angel, Isabella, Milagro, Donnella, and Chocolate. I hope you enjoy spinning it.

This is the last one of these five color alpaca samplers, as we have exhausted our suppllies of the lighter brown color. When this sells, we will offer a four color sampler, but if you want all five, don't wait!

Alpaca is known for softness, being water repellent, difficult to ignite, and very warm. Many people who are allergic to wool find that they can wear alpaca.

Fiber: 100% alpaca
