⌠ armor doll plush expansion pack .pdf pattern ⌡

This listing is an expansion pack for my doll plush sewing patterns. Using one of my doll sewing patterns as a base you can use this .pdf expansion pack to make them intricate suits of armor! It contains templates for 2 undergarments, 6 kinds of body armor, helmets, and a sword & shield.

This expansion pack has step-by-step photos and printable templates. It includes extra info on choosing fabrics, tools to get started, printing your pattern, and cutting your fabric. This project is not recommended for absolute beginners, but I do my best to explain everything in detail for those rogue confident newbies that want a challenge :)

Applique templates (suitable for regular machines or hand-sewing) are provided for the plate style armor. Embroidery files for 4" x 4" embroidery hoops and above are already included for the plate armor as well as the detailed filigree and scale armor.

I am loving this expansion so far! I’ve only made a circlet for a Maedhros doll (The Silmarillion) that I made earlier this year, and it definitely turned out super cute. I’ll be looking forward to using this pattern more in the future!

I actually used a mix of a tunic from another pattern along with the shoulder armor here to make the Essek mantle armor out of leather. Every pattern is easy to follow and even make adjustments to as I need.

Excellent results as always. I made the tunic, pants, belt, and sword and was very pleased with the results - they looked just like the instructions. Very clear directions and pattern pieces. I love that this was adaptable for all the different dolls you have, not just the humans. Will be back for any other doll expansions you release. More clothes please! :) I added an elastic loop to the sword handle (like a Build-a-Bear accessory) so he could hold his weapon, and it has pipe cleaner inside instead of a skewer.

I am so impressed with the number of variations, for all the different types of dolls - accommodating wings, tails, ears, horns, you name it.
