From Our "Connoisseur Cabochon" Collection

Locality: Bisbee, Arizona
Length: 48.30mm
Width: 31.55mm
Height: 4.17mm
Weight: 85.5 Cts.
Bezel: Yes

Provenance:

Of all the Azurite we've ever had the priviledge to cut, Bisbee Azurite transcends all the others on our fair planet. This piece came from a collection from the 50's and exemplifies Bisbee Azurite at it's finest. The deep blue Azurite mixed with the lighter blue Azurite banding is stunning. The Mine in Bisbee Arizona was opened in 1917 and closed in 1974. This piece came from the Czar Shaft. This Cabochon is polished on both sides and we can not decide which side is the most beautiful. In sunlight or bright light this piece is breathtaking!!!

Metaphysical:

Azurite is the "Stone of Heaven". It aids in physical awareness and is excellent for meditation.
