I create the texture on my pendants by carving an original design into clay. Once that clay is fired, it becomes my texture plate. I roll porcelain clay into that texture plate and get a sheet of the reverse image. I then cut out the pendant and a bunch of steps later... wha-la... a pendant is created…
This listing is for the three pendant set in the first photo. The second photo shows size of the large square pendant, the third is meant to give the scale of the two smaller rectangle pendants (could not find for the life of me the photo of this smaller set!). These porcelain pendants are glazed both front and back.
If you would like me to create wearable jewelry for you with this particular pendant set, please let me know by message to seller or Etsy convo and I can use my skilled hands to wrap these pieces for you with either a non-tarnishing brass or sterling silver wire, similar to what is seen in the last photograph.
The cost for making this set wearable:
Add $10 combined total ($5 for necklace, $5 for earrings in a non tarnishing base metal wire).
Add $15 for Sterling Silver (please let me know if you want the silver "bright" or "antiqued").
Thank you for taking the time to look at my porcelain clay art work…
All of the texture plates that I make to use for these designs are copyrighted by Marsha Neal Studio, LLC.
