Vintage Snake Bracelet - Sterling Silver - Victorian or Art Deco - 1920s - Serpent Jewelry - Snake Jewellery

This is a really gorgeous snake cuff from the Victorian or Art Deco era. The snake's body forms the bangle and the windy tail overlaps at the top. To wear it you pull tail and head in opposite directions and slip your wrist in.

The body of the bracelet is made up of a silver sheet folded over. This is a style that I have seen a lot in snake bracelets from the Victorian era. This design makes the bracelet light and very comfortable to wear. Unlike the plain body, the snake's head and tail are beautifully detailed and decorated all over. The markings are crisp and clear.

There are no markings that I can see, but the bracelet tests positive for sterling. There are surface scratches - normal for its age - but apart from that the bracelet is in good vintage condition. These bracelets are amazing to have in your collection Snakes are never out of fashion! Another bonus is that they are a good investment (similar bracelets on different sites are priced at 250 to 400 USD range so this is a very good deal).

The bracelet is about 6 cm (2 3/8") in diameter. The inner circumference is 18 cm (7"). Weight is 16.5 g.
