Vintage Vernon Kilns Coffee or Teacups, circa 1940's. This pattern is called "Chintz". These cups are in good vintage condition. They show signs of use, but over all, they look pretty good considering their age. 70 years old, or so. There is one tiny chip, on the inside rim of one cup. Pictured in my last photo. Not easily noticed, and doesn't detract from their appeal.

This pattern is hand painted under glaze. These are very pretty, with the pattern on both sides of the cups. Pure vintage goodness.

Vernon Kilns was the name used by Vernon Kilns Ltd between the years 1931 until it closed in 1958. The molds were bought by Metlox which continued some of the patterns. This pattern was made between 1942 and 1950.

Sweet and pretty.
