I don't really know how old this bottle stopper is. I bought it in the 1960's at an antique store.
It is crystal clear and the ball is multi-faceted, almost like a gem stone. It is very heavy, weighing 3.5 oz. and may be lead crystal. It measures 3" from top to bottom. The knob on top is 1 1/2" in diameter and the stopper part at the bottom is 7/8" in diameter. There is one small chip in the stopper part, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.

I originally bought this stopper for a painted bottle that I inherited. It turned out that the bottle was very fragile and the stopper very heavy. After a few months of the stopper being in the bottle, the bottle cracked. I'm telling you this, so you won't make the same mistake I did.

I'm sure it's worth a lot more than I'm asking for it. If you can tell me anything about it, I would appreciate it.

I have other vintage and handmade vintage items in our shop. I, also, have the families' art work. I have stained glass night lights and picture frames. James has jewelry boxes and game boards in his woodcrafts. Or son has beautiful nature photography. Please, see everything in our shop before you leave. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. It seems I'm always adding something new.
