I was visiting my cousin's in Denver in 1972 when we came upon a storefront that had been turned into a political campaign headquarters to promote actor Robert Redford's new movie, "The Candidate." We became very excited when we learned that in just a couple of days, the actor was going to be making a personal appearance. We of course went back to see him in person and my younger cousin even got up the nerve to go up and get his autograph (while I took pictures). Anyway, this button is among several souvenirs that I grabbed that day.

The colors are red, white and blue with a black and white photo of the handsome actor in the center. It measures approximately 2 inches across and is in near mint condition. Robert Redford may not have touched this button, but you have my word for it that he was in the same room with it!

A fun piece of movie memorabilia for the film fan.
