A robbery was committed at the Chocolate Factory. As the highest-ranking crime detective, you must solve the crime and recover the stolen items.

You have the names and details of 32 suspects who were in the area when the crime took place. The thief is one of them.

There were five witnesses to the robbery. Each witness has left you a coded clue, so that only you, with your amazing code‐breaking skills, will be able to crack them and solve the crime.

You can decode the clues in any order you wish. Every time you solve a clue you will be able to eliminate half of the suspects from the list, until you are left with just one.

Who is the thief?

Can you then use the decoder left by the thief to unlock the stolen goods?

A family-friendly murder mystery for players aged 10 and above. Players younger than 10 can join in the fun but may need some guidance.

The mystery takes approximately 30 minutes based on players’ experience, skill, age and group size.

We suggest 2-4 players for this murder mystery - though feel free to have a go by yourself.

✂️ Set-Up And Additional Materials ✂️

The game itself arrives ready to play but you will need to assemble the flat pack box, put your gift inside, wrap it up and secure it with the chain and padlock. The recipient must then solve the mystery and decipher the code to unlock their gift.

You will also need something to write with and a few sheets of scrap paper.

💡 Extra Ideas 💡

- if your gift is too big for the box supplied why not put a small gift in the box and add a cryptic note to where their main gift is hidden?

- use the padlock provided to lock their present in a bag or suitcase.

- include clues for a scavenger hunt (not supplied) inside the locked box to continue the fun (maybe include some gift/prize also for getting the box open!).
