THIS ITEM IS CURRENTLY RESERVED FOR A CLIENT

Lovely Mexican copper brooch in the style of Margot deTaxco, an American designer who moved to Mexico in 1937. It is signed "Artesania Mexicana" on the back. The basket is guilloche-enamelled with little enamelled blue flowers and green leaves. It is in good vintage condition with a nice patina (please note the little mark on the rear is just where the metal has been tested). It is quite rare to find this basket design in copper, it is more often to be found in silver.

It measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" and has a secure rollover clasp.
