I bought this Rambouillet fleece from a local farmer, and this is my first little skein to see how it spins up. It's very sproingy and full of life. I kettle dyed it in lavender and pinks, and plied it so the fibres would open up and show off their glory.

Rambouillet can be as soft as Merino - this one isn't quite that soft, but nor is it skritchy. You can wear it next to your skin, but maybe not for a baby.

Fibre: Rambouillet

This skein began as raw fleece, cleaned and dyed by me in my smoke-free, cat-friendly home using professional acid dyes. It was hand combed and then spun on my Ashford traditional wheel, after which the whole skein was treated to a relaxing unscented Eucalan soak.

Care instructions: Wash and rinse gently in tepid or cool water, squeeze out excess water in a towel, dry flat.

SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping does not include insurance or tracking. If you would like these services, please let me know and I will adjust shipping costs.
