These beautiful sienna and gold Kazuri bead earrings, have a deep rich look that will dress up any outfit. The gold polka dots on the small shale beads are made with actual melted 14KT gold that is hand applied to the beads! And in this day and age a little gold goes a long way! Surrounding the Kazuri beads are 22KT gold vermeil beads.
14KT gold filled lever-backed ear wires support this small work of art. Ear wires can be changed to non-peirced at your request.
Length: Approximately: 2.5"
(If more than one pair of earrings are bought on the same day then the subsequent pairs are shipped at no additional charge. Because seriously, how much can one pair of earrings weigh?)
The Kazuri Story
Kazuri beads are handmade in Kenya by women who are single, disabled and or head of their household. Kazuri means small and beautiful in Swahili. Started in 1975 by Lady Susan Woods with two women, the company has grown to more than 350 employees. (The company does now employ men as well.)
Here women are trained to produce the unique Kazuri beads, with clay from the Mt. Kenya area. From raw earth to beautiful hand made beads, jewelry made with Kazuri beads enhance your beauty and help the wonderfully talented Kazuri employees support their families and send their children to school, (many to university.)
Kazuri is a member of the Fair Trade Act.
