I found this signed studio pottery crock at an estate sale, and it is singularly lovely. If I didn't have so much pottery around my house already, it would probably keep it! It is a 9 inch tall crock that is 6 inches across at the base and 5.25 inches across at the top opening. A cream color with dark flecks, the organic design across the top has an art nouveau or Arts and Crafts Movement vibe to it.

This sturdy and substantial piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some color variation in places around the crock, but that is normal in a studio piece such as this. It is signed and is dated '78.

A wonderful crock to use to display dried flowers, it could also be used hold some large wooden spoons in your kitchen, or simply used as an accent piece, because it is quite beautiful all on its own.
