SUBJECT: A pair of gorgeous little porcelain ashtrays, circa 1950s, crafted in Germany by Schumann Arzberg, both numbered 707/2, one signed, depicting two horses at play. The handwork on this pair is marvelous, between the exquisitely fine details of the horses and the brilliant gold gilding finishing at the edges. Those of us who spend time with horses know well that thrilling moment when pasture pals suddenly take off together, running like madmen just because they can, just for pure joy.

DETAILS: These vintage Schumann Arzberg German porcelain ashtrays each measure slightly over 3 x 3 inches square. They are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks or stains, so likely were never used as actual ashtrays.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: Three-dimensional objects are always well-protected with bubble wrap and peanuts and shipped in secure packaging within two business days of purchase.

VINTAGE: All vintage and antique items have unique histories and are offered for sale in exactly the condition they were found. They are sold “AS IS.”
