"I arrived in Portland, Oregon on July 24th, 2008. I spent the initial days looking for an apartment, job-hunting, getting over my fear of city biking, feeling overwhelmed, feeling relaxed, cooking, and making this zine.

These are just a handful of the images that stood out to me during my first month in the Rose City."

So reads the inscription in Minutiae No. 1, first in a serial about the details of life. This one is image-heavy, with some writing. Snapshots of images and moments that captured my attention.

20 pages with black and white illustrations photocopied onto natural-colored paper with a sunflower-yellow cardstock cover. This book is quarter-sized, measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2." Uses recycled, acid-free paper.

I have many copies of this book, so contact me first if you'd like more than one copy. Thanks!

Here's an excerpt from a review by Hello Amber:

"This zine is full of whimsical drawings of the various objects that stood out during her first summer in the city. Bicycles, a gnome garden, thrift store novelty mugs and a motorcycle on fire... The drawings are intricately detailed, but cartoon-ish at the same time, looking like they've come out of some strange fairy tale."
