I've recently become obsessed with block printmaking and hand-carved rubber stamps. I've carved about 50 rubber stamps and linoleum blocks to build a "stamp library" I can browse through and choose from when I'm making prints.

I'm excited to offer my prints at a much lower price than my paintings, since the prints take considerably less time to make than the paintings, and my stamps and linoleum blocks can be reused to make new compositions in the future.

Your purchase includes two pieces of pink artist tape for hanging, and a personal note from me typed on our vintage typewriter which types in cursive. :)

How I made this print:
1. I chose three stamps from my stamp library: the double circle, the abstract textured rock, and the tiny pyramid (shown in fifth photo).
2. I rolled hand-mixed navy blue ink on the circles stamp and pressed it down on beautiful Japanese rice paper.
3. Once the ink dried, I decided I only wanted one circle so I cut the paper in half.
4. I rolled hand-mixed peach ink on my pyramid stamp and pressed it upside-down in the middle of the circle.
5. I rolled more peach ink on my rock stamp, and stamped it repeatedly, obscuring the pyramid (in the third photo you can just make out the tiny details of the pyramid).
6. I trimmed the paper around the printed area, leaving a white tab that is part of the final composition.
7. I glued the print onto acid-free grey cardstock.
8. I hung the final piece with hot-pink artist tape.

This item measures 8 inches x 11.5 inches.

It would look great framed, or displayed as-is with the pink tape provided (see first and fourth photo).

This is a one-of-a-kind work of art.

I try my best to represent actual colors of my work, but please keep in mind the colors you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.

Your art will be packaged and shipped with great care and love.
