If you are like me, you like vintage items with a history. I love things that tell a little story about the user and this note book certainly qualifies. This student notebook belonged to Cecelia Moriarty. She used it in college, apparently for plant study or botany class. Each page is filled with notes about a particularly species of plant. From the looks of it, she took her class in the late 1930s or early 1940s. (Amazingly enough, with all this writing, I can't find any dates!) Take a look at the third photo. She has used actual leaves to make stamps and they look as good as the day it was done.

I can make up all kinds of stories about Cecilia and what she did with her life, but I'll let you take it from here.

The book measures 5" x 8" and obviously shows use.
