Thank you for your interest in the pretty jar , it has sold . Please do not purchase , the listing is active for the intended buyer.

With the sun beaming from behind this pretty bottle caught my eye ~ thick glass it is the color of deep amber and has a ribbed texture.

Once a component to a tobacco humidifier the glass jar would sit in a wood base with a wood lid. Sometimes the lid would have a design mounted made of copper often nautical. The jars were sold both separate and as a kit and the pipes would sit next to the covered jar. Having a pair now make for great matching vases on a long table for the holidays ~ the mantle or storage jars for paintbrushes, kitchen utensils ??

It has a beautiful shape and measures 5" tall and 4" wide. The bottom reads New York City C.W. Products Corp. Duraglas.
