Made of Exotic Cocobolo Rosewood, a very beautiful, very dense & durable exotic hardwood.
No stock photos here...the pick shown is the actual pick you will receive.
This premium handcrafted guitar pick was shaped & sanded independently, & features a durable semi-gloss acrylic enamel finish that was hand brushed on, & although this pick is only 2 mm thick, this type of finish actually makes the wood fibers stronger, so this pick was designed for the player who prefers a thinner pick, but still seeks that organic tone that only natural wood can give, without sacrificing durability & strength. This pick measures approx. 1-1/4"or 31 mm long X 1-1/16" or 27 mm wide, it is about 2 mm thick at the thickest part of the pick, the tip was specially shaped & sanded super fine for unmatched performance, & was sealed with a special oil blend to keep the organic properties of the wood alive & well. For some guitarists, it may take a while to get used to playing with a wooden pick, but every guitar player that I know, simply can't live without their hardwood guitar picks. So why not take your guitar playing to new extremes, with the true tones that my handmade Artisan wood picks employ...They also make excellent gifts! Thanks for looking!

COCOBOLO ROSEWOOD - Dalbergia Retusa
The tree is Native to, Mexico, Central America, and areas of northern South America.
A true Rosewood, Cocobolo is one of the finest and most beautifully figured woods in the world. It comes in many shades and colors. It is a rosewood that usually has a fair amount of natural oil in the wood. The heartwood is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The sapwood (not often used) is a creamy yellow, with a sharp boundary with the heartwood. The heartwood is known to change color after being cut, lending to its appeal. It is very hard, fine textured and dense, but is easily machined, definitely one of the worlds most adored & sought after woods.
