Aussie Aussie Aussie!

You are purchasing a gorgeous, very large vintage rolling mapograph stamp used once upon a time in a school classroom. No idea of the exact age - Circa 1960's ? :)

It is of course a map of Australia!

This stamp had not been cleaned when I came across it but i cleaned up the rubber and it still stamps really well considering! I used a teeny tiny ink pad and came up with the result pictured, so I am sure with the right tools it will look fantastic.

It has a wooden ink stained handle (which unscrews & will be unscrewed for saftey in shipping it to you - very easy to screw back on!) & the metal has rusting.
The actual stamp roller part comes out of the handle by flipping up a metal piece on the side.

The stamp is super easy to use - There is a distinct beginning / end & once you reach the end of the picture the roller 'springs' back to the beginning! The side of the stamps reads that it is british made with an address in London & patent number.

Fantastic Collectors item, for display or addition to your crafting :)

The actual stamp image measures approx 17.5cm tall x 14cm wide.
