This is a beautiful vintage linen tablecloth from the first half of the 20th century, with ecru embroidery surrounding a square cutwork design in each corner and in the center of each side, and two lines of drawnwork, between the embroidery and along the hem. The color is off white, almost a light wheat color, and the linen is of medium weight and has a luxurious drape. Each of the four matching napkins has drawnwork at the hem, and one corner is embroidered with cutwork in a smaller version of the same in the tablecloth. It is the size of a tea cloth, which was widely used for less formal, small noon or afternoon snacks and meals.

The tablecloth is in good condition, and has one faint, small brown spot near the center, and another near one edge. There are some loose threads in the cutwork (see photos). The napkins are in perfect condition.

Tablecloth: 34.25 by 35.75 inches (86 by 91 cm)
Napkins: 12.25 inches square (31 cm square)
