This vintage set of Tree Spotter Cards was manufactured by Ed-U-Cards, N.Y. in the 1950s. It was a game designed to help youngsters learn about the different tree varities in the United States and where each variety grew. I tried teaching these to the giraffes' so they would know what was safe to eat while traveling around the country, but the darn monkeys kept chiming in wanting to know which ones had the best nuts and fruits. Needless to say they didn't learn anything...... The cards are yellowed due to age, but are in overall good condition and measure 2 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches tall.
