Art Deco Jabot pin brooch in a most unique design of chromium and crystal rhinestones. Originally used in the 17th century to fasten a ruffle on both men and women’s garments, and were constructed of two pieces, with decorative ornaments on either end. On the garment the pin becomes invisible and appears to float of the fabric. These pieces flourishes during the Art Deco period as a preferred clothing decoration and were worn on hats, lapels, and shoulders.

The jabot measures 2 ¾ inches in length and is 1 inch in width. The setting is made of chromium and the delicate design is highlighted by a large bezel set chatons. The lower embellishment screws into the stick pin, and is in perfect working order. The stones are remarkable; there are a few scratches on the back, evident in the last photo.
