This is a great McCoy pottery cookie jar in the shape of an old oaken barrel :D It is a golden oak colored glaze. The cookies sign is cold-painted in bright yellow - there are traces of red and green cold paint around the edge of the sign. This jar is unmarked, and has a divided raised bottom similar to American Bisque jars, but this jar is shown in Warman's book on McCoy, page 58.

It measures 9 3/4 inches high by 7 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest.

Condition is excellent - except for the missing cold paint, and a tiny 1/4 inch hairline at the top inside rim of the base (stable and very hard to see), there are no chips, cracks, other hairlines, stains, odors. The one spot on the inside of the lid that shows in #3 photo is a spot of missing glaze, from the factory.

Shipping rates have gone up dramatically, but I will refund any overcharges.
