This lovely plate is of antique majolica earthenware and was made in Germany in the late nineteenth century. It is an unusual color variation of this pattern and the first that I have seen with the gorgeous aqua and green leaves.

It is 71/2 inches in diameter and in with normal wear for its age. It has a some flakes on the edge of the plate and two shallow chips that have been touched up. The back of the plate has stilt marks from firing and one shallow area that looks like a glaze pop. It is free of any cracks or hairlines and the colors and glaze are beautiful.

I will pack this item carefully and ship it via USPS Priority Mail. Please contact me if you are outside of the US.
