****Please note: due to several questions lately, I want to be clear that this listing is not for a finished growth chart; it is only for the printed fabric that you can use to make your own growth chart. No notions, trims, or accessories are included, only the fabric.****

An antique-look tape measure print that runs between the two selvedges, scaled accurately (to maintain accurate measurement, do not prewash). Background pattern is a large linen weave pattern with added age marks and slightly darkened edges. Printed by Spoonflower, for colorfast, professional fabric printing. The first photo above shows a finished project, made following instructions on my blog.

This listing is for two pre-cut panels of fabric, which join in the middle to form one (1) seven-foot tape measure (see last photo above to see how the panels are joined). Approximate yardage is .4 yard. Printed on Kona cotton.

If you want to buy yardage of this design to make more than one growth chart (or for pillows, curtain panels, upholstery, etc.) please order from my Spoonflower page, or one of my other auctions.

Complete tutorial for recommended assembly (and Spoonflower link) can be found on my blog :

Basic instructions: leaving selvedges intact and a 1/2-inch seam allowance along each side, cut out the two panels that will make up your tape measure and join at the 3.5-foot mark. Finished project pictured above shows added vinyl ends and grommet (not included).

Names, dates, and heights can be added with a fine-point permanent marker or can be embroidered onto the fabric.

Can also be used for pillows, upholstery, curtain panels, etc.

This print is the first in an upcoming collection of vintage sewing tools. Please drop in again!
