Aqua and gold trees and stars in a mid-century modern design adorn this white frosted glass candy dish designed by David Douglas. Each tree is painted gold, as are the stars and the double band around the edge of the dish. A free-form square shape, the lines are very mod, and it measures 5 1/2" on all sides. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or other flaws. It would make a lovely hostess gift.

In researching this piece, I came across this wonderful exchange about designer David Douglas and several photos of other items in the same gorgeous pattern.
