This vintage 1950s children's story record designed to help children learn music appreciation is called "Creepy, the Crawly Caterpillar." They do kind of walk that thin line of cute and creepy, don't they?

This record is from the Childrens Record Guild and is told by Norman Rose. These records were designed to be a planned program for children to help them love, understand and grow with good music. I bet they worked, too!

The record itself looks completely playable and is in good vintage condition. The cover has fabulous graphic design and is made of heavy paper which has held up well. The cover is a general Children's Record Guild one, and does not list the specific name of the caterpillar story on the cover.

The record measures 9 7/8" across, the cover 10 1/8" across. The RPM speed is not listed.

Retro childhood fun!
