This Vintage 1930's Horse Drawn Covered Wagon Clock was made from the 1930's into the 1960's. Originally it was given away as a carnival prize. All the metal parts on this clock are made of copper. The patina that has developed on the copper leads me to believe it was made in the 30's.

This clock is not 100% original. When I got it, it was missing the wagon cover and the leather reigns. I have reproduced the cover and added new rawhide reigns. At some point someone painted the base. I sanded and refinished it in a natural stain.

The clock seems to be a bit off. I've run the clock for a few days, and it seems to lose or gain about 3-4 minutes in a 24 hour period.
The arm of the wagon driver moves up and down to crack his whip. The gears that run his arm are a bit touchy. If it stops moving, there is a removable cover that reveals the inner working. Using a small screw driver, main gear can be nudged to get it going again. This may have to be done after being jostled around during shipping.

With that, this mantle clock is a great display piece.
