Linen postcard is in good condition with wear. It is used, stamped and postmarked. The postmark says Oct. 3, 19(43?). The stamp is a green 1 cent stamp with a Roman/Athenian? solider holding a torch. It says 'Freedom of Speech and Religion From Want and Fear' on the bottom.

The front of the card says:
United States--Canada 1838-1938. One Hundred Years of International Peace and Goodwill. Thousand Islands International Bridge, St. Lawrence River, Thousand Islands

Back of the card (Not handwritten):
The St. Lawrence River, where the beautiful Thousand Islands are, has divided the people of Canada and the United States, but now that the river is spanned, a closer relationship will further tighten the natural bonds of the two countries.
